Great place with wonderful character, terrific breakfast, interesting wine at their bar in the evening, and beautiful views
Relaxing, welcoming, a 5star restaurant on site. If you are anywhere in Helena, Montana, the restaurant « maison » is a must if you like fine French dining.
Very nice and different experience. Kind and courteous staff. Farm life was fun.
History of the hotel, French Cuisine and the Farm animals
Super cute property. The room was cozy. The beds were super comfortable. I will mention it is a shared bathroom. Not an issue just something I didn’t realize when booking. It was fine for us as we were the only guests for our stay. Being the only guests the inn was quiet and comfortable. Got to see the animals in the morning. We didn’t get to say goodbye or thank anyone when we left as we couldn’t find anyone. But it was a lovely stay and I will definitely be back. Honestly both my friend and I thought of how cute this place would be for a wedding or event in the future. Rent it out for friends and family. There is a restaurant on site, only slightly awkward when checking in as there isn’t an official check in desk but everyone was friendly and helpful when we arrived.
The Inn was very charming with personality that you will not get in regular hotels. Staff was very accommodating and even put out the breakfast bar early for me so I didn't miss my early departure. If you enjoy a stay with character and personality I would highly recommend this location. ps don't forget to say hi to the farm animals.
I loved the goats and chickens and wide open view!
Very warm welcome. Owners were cordial but not intrusive. Comfortable bed. Spacious, comfortable common areas to read and work in, with armchairs, sofas & at least one desk; also pleasant places to sit outside. Large tiled, very clean shared bathroom with big, heavy towels and good shower. Bedroom was pretty small -- no chair and no space to open a large suitcase except on the bed or the floor -- but there was a medium-sized closet. Breakfast (cold) was ok but not very imaginative; there was some good, probably homemade banana bread.
I'm a huge historical architecture buff and this inn was a wonderful experience in the coziness of history surrounding you. It is situated on a lovely expanse of land that is host to an array of farm animals ( you get farm fresh eggs in the morning with your breakfast! ) that cannot help but soothe and rejuvenate. I loved the drive out of city limits, yet very close. The staff is extremely welcoming and attentive to your comfort! Very relaxing and housekeeping is exemplary, couldn't ask for a more perfect setting. I stayed with my service canine and he really enjoyed the grounds and hospitality. I received a great night's sleep ( which is always huge on my list when I travel ). Breakfast had granola, fresh vegan scones, banana nut bread and wonderful array of teas, plus fresh fruit. I look forward to staying there again!
Historic, different, comfy. We stayed in an economy room, simple digs with a comfortable bed and Beautyrest Black pillows (so much better than overstuffed hotel pillows that hurt your neck). The shared bath has original 1920's tile floors and an updated vanity. The first toilet stall was a tight squeeze for by husband, as they are from the era of the building. The new owners are still making improvements. The bathtub surround does need replaced. The common areas are lovely, wood burning fireplace was lit in the breakfast room which was spacious and well appointed. Hard boiled eggs from the farm were a welcome touch to the continental breakfast.
