Meadowcliff lodge

Very clean and beautiful grounds. Located away from the road. Enjoyed horseshoes and frisbee golf. Comfortable beds.

Rigid 3-8 pm check in makes no sense when located on a busy major highway. Limited food options if one arrives later than 7 pm.

Typically I believe stopping for a room in Coleville would be just passing through type of stop as there are only a few accommodations in this small town. I had no idea when I made the reservation that this was a KOA. Motel room was very small but clean, but room had a terrible mildew smell.

A lot of hassle to go through. Received a lot of comms before arriving. They even let you fill another paperwork before arriving and it is compulsory. Had to leave the car at the entrance before check in. Staff are less than friendly. Charge extra for the 3rd guest. No check-in after 8pm. No complaints about the house though.

Softest sheets I’ve ever slept in.

Quiet, VERY friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location for us as we were headed west over the mountains.

Description indicated there was a restaurant on site. There isn’t and Coleville is not really a town so no restaurants. There were a couple back in the direction we came from but close at 7 so be aware if you might need food.

Appreciated to opportunity to buy a pizza for dinner. Helpfulness in sharing hiking trail, but weren’t told the gate to the creek only looked locked.

The pizza we ordered. Toppings great, crust was burnt and hard. Outside seating area had no protection from rain, though it would have been lovely to sit outside to enjoy the cooler evening. Room was over cramped with two queen beds.
