Meadowcliff lodge

I wasn’t impressed with “Tim” who was the host who met my wife and I at the front desk. He was frankly rude and condescending and needs a major attitude adjustment. When my wife and I asked for a new set of towels for our room, he got extremely agitated and said “typically guests with them for up to a week don’t get new towels or beddings”., implying why should we? Sorry but wrong answer Tim! I asked him if the cafe restaurant out by the road was open, he answered sarcastically, “ what do you think?”. A simple or appropriate answer would have been either yes or no and explained why. Last time I stayed the cafe was open so his attitude and tone was not needed. Time to head back to Vegas Tim before you cause more problems!

Love the ambiance of Meadow cliff.. Always my favorite part of our trip.

The remote location gave a good campy feel. People were friendly. There was a grill next to our room which we could use. The playground was fun and well maintained.

The 8pm checkin restriction is strict and we had to change our plans to make it. Not something you want to think about when on a trip. The pool closes by 8pm as well. There are no food options nearby post 8pm as well.

This is my second stay at this property. Both times just a stay for the night. I was made welcome and found the room to be comfortable.

Very good place to stay between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite. Clean and large beds in every room. Very good experience

Air conditioning a little bit noisy.
