Camelot Court Motel

This may have been the worst experience I've had at a Motel. The room was run down and dirty. There was apparent residence that stayed up all night partying outside our room, sitting and eating off our car, while we were in the car. We would lose half the power in the room when brewing a pot of coffee. It took well over an hour for us to get power back because the breaker room was locked and nobody knew where the key was. We were woken up first thing in the morning by a chamber maid in our room asking if we needed anything, we were SLEEPING.

I wanted a place with a pool. The web site did not say the pool was closed. Room clean inside but scuzzy outside & not well maintained.

Don't expect a 5 star experience. It's pretty grim but if on a budget....it's better than sleeping in your car. Walls are painted cinder blocks. The bed was comfortable, but the floors although new.....never heard of soap. I dropped my bottle of water on the floor and the towel came up black as midnight with your eyes closed. Bring flipflops you'll feel better.

Room was fine. I won't stay again due to individuals hanging around the buildings. Unfortunate individuals with addictions do not make the environment attractive to travellers. I can sympathize as I understand many of them are homeless. I guess it depends on the class of individuals the motel is wanting to attract.

Litlebit of renovation in progress, but my stay was not affected by inconvenience. I was able to use all facilities . The staff was very helpful. Value was great. I wd stay again.
