staff super gentile e disponibile, posizione centrale anche se non è sulla strada principale a noi è piaciuto perché lontano dal casino

ci sono delle scale impegnative per arrivare alla camera, fortunatamente siamo stati aiutati ma occhio se avete dei bagagli pesanti

L'accoglienza e la disponibilità di Ketut, Alit e Made. Si sono sempre preoccupati di aiutarmi con l'organizzazione e quando ho chiesto qualcosa non mi hanno fatto mancare nulla. Sempre tutto con estrema gentilezza. La posizione del lodge con la vista sulla giungla è spettacolare e poi si alloggia all'interno di una proprietà famigliare, quindi è possibile vedere più da vicino come vivono i locali. Camera grande, molto comoda.

I galli che cantano dalle 3.30 del mattino in poi, in aggiunta ad altri uccelli che cantano. Nonostante i tappi per le orecchie, non c'è stato verso (però ci tengo a dire che ho un sonno leggero). La pulizia negli spazi comuni è da curare di più.

Hele vriendelijke mensen die er alles aan doen om je te kunnen helpen. Ze regelen alles wat je vraagt van transport tot uitstappen met gids.

De kamers waren proper maar hebben wat opfrissing nodig. Kamer was heel vochtig waardoor er een muffe geur bleef hangen. Ooo zijn er rond de kamers veel vogels, kippen en hanen die je heel de nacht wakker houden. Oordoppen zijn aangeraden

Everything was perfect, it felt like living with a local family, the staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. Also, I took a cooking class and a guide day trip with them, a really good experience. Definitely, if I come back I will stay in this accommodation again 😊 thank you so much for everything!

The guest house is beautifully designed in Balinese style. It is truly a home away from home. Great hospitality and a wonderful stay.

Everything was perfect for me

Ketut and Made were both very friendly and helpful, making sure I am comfortable and providing information about local culture and places to visit and where to find things, it was a true pleasure staying with them.

Location. Staff was extremely kind, cleaned the room early to let me in. Also i had 2 huge suitcases the host was kind to carry them down to the room..(a lot of stairs)

I think they were in a rush, used towel was left in the bathroom. no aircon in the room.

We had an exceptional stay at this lodge. The room was expectedly large, and was clean and comfortable. It had a nice balcony with a stunning and peaceful view of the jungle. It is close to many cafes, warungs and attractions. The hosts were really lovely and made us feel at home. They told us about their family, local culture and local recommendations and were able to make various arrangements for us. One night we ordered the Balinese dinner which was delicious and they explained each of the dishes. This stay really gave us insight into the heart of Ubud!

The property is a 10 minute walk from Ubud centre but we liked this as central Ubud was far too busy.

Where do I start? I’m forever grateful for your hospitality and kindness Alit. Alit picked me up at the entrance of the alley upon my arrival. She welcomed me with a smile to her home. I went wow from the moment I stepped into the compound. This is a family compound. A real life and soul of Bali. The room itself was a treasure. No fancy bed yet very comfortable, no TV, no fancy amenities. However, these are NOT the things that I am after. I’m after values that money can’t buy which I get to see the real life of Balinese, how the people live, their routines, their special family gatherings and their hospitality. Bathroom and toilets are hygienic with basic amenities such as shampoo and shower gels, toilet paper. Nice big front veranda looking out to an endless green forest with the sound of nature: birds, roosters and others. What a precious moment to just live and have this nature to your own at a very reasonable price! I fell sick after the first night, Alit was very kind that she looked after me very well. Regularly checked in with me to see how I feel. She also offered breakfast every morning at a reason price. Location: it takes around 10 minutes walk to town centre. I found town centre was full of people, I booked GRAB motorbike taxi to take me to the rice paddy fields which were so close to the homestay. There is one thing I wish I knew that Alit’s dad - Ketut also offered tours and transport service. I would have definitely book him. A very kind man with great integrity and tremendous love for his home, culture and the island. Once again Alit, thank you for welcoming me to your home and your hospitality. Sehr schönes Zimmer, gefühlt mitten im Dschungel. Eine wunderschöne grüne Wand vor dem Balkon :-) Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr lieb, hat mich herzlich begrüßt und mir mit dem Transport geholfen. Eine authentische Unterkunft, in der man Ruhe finden kann im trubeligen Ubud.

Ein bisschen weiter weg. Aber durch Grabbike oder eigenen Scooter merkt man das eigentlich gar nicht.
