The WI-FI was good.

Room felt a bit damp. Wouldn’t let me shower on the day of check out.

Julieth and Hector are wonderful hosts, anything we needed they could provide and they helped us to plan our coffee tour and trip to cocora valley. The location is perfect, in a quiet street just off the main square and surrounded by nature. Our cooking class with Fernando and Paola was the absolute highlight and I would recommend this to everyone who comes to salento!

The basement rooms are good for staying cool in the day but there are no windows.

The bed was very comfortable. The hostel is away from the noisy streets.

The room we stayed was super humid. Nothing got dried. Even the dry clothes felt damp after some time. On our last day we wanted to drop our bags and go to the fincas but we ended up going around with our bags as the owner of the hostel would be outside when we needed to take the bags. If he's outside, there's nobody to help you. The hostel is at a very quiet place but very early in the morning we woke up because the owner of the place was talking very loudly with other guests.

There is nothing specifically wrong with the place. But it needs to be precised that there is no windows in the room which make it quite smelly (a lot of humidity inside, none of our clothes could dry in 3 days). The room is downstairs which make it really dark and gives you a feeling of being trapped. Also, we couldnt pay by card, only Cash, which wasnt notified anywhere. So if you have cash and where planning of keeping it for all the beautiful excursions around the city it force you to go get cash out (and loose money because of the bad rate of the ATM)

We loved the house, the decorations, the beds were comfortable.

We didn’t like the steep ramp to get to the house. However, overall it’s a great place to stay.

Hot water in the showers. Quiet location, but close to town center. Nice staff and very quick to respond to our questions.

Thin walls and no fans in the rooms. No outdoor sitting area.

The location is great: close to the main square but far enough away not to be bothered by any noise. The family that owns the place is super lovely and always willing to help. The room was decorated nicely, clean, and we even got some fresh towels on the third day.

The room was quite moist (I don't know if this was because of Salento's humidity, or the fact that the room was in a basement). Towels wouldn't dry, clothes started to smell, and there was a bit of mold. But not sure this can be avoided.
