Room was nice. Hot in the pool area but good for swimming. Breakfast was good.

Breakfast on Saturday starts later but we needed to be somewhere so we only had 20 min to eat but it was managable

Very old, run down. People smoking all in the lobby of a "smoke free" hotel.

The hotel location was right off the freeway. It is basically right next-door to a Cracker Barrel so it was easy convenience there’s also a Starbucks speedway and a couple of gas stations within a half a mile from the hotel. The check-in process was pretty simple and straightforward however, the one thing I did not like is that I booked my hotel through Hotels.com. Hotels.com sent me an email saying to speed up the check-in process go ahead and fill out all the information and including your debit card for your deposit or credit card your drivers license and your information like your vehicle and such once that was entered. It said they just check in at the front desk to get your keys and then you’re on your way however, when we arrived, we had to give them all the information all over again so that was a little frustrating. The hotel itself the room was nice considering it was a king size bed. There was also a refrigerator in the microwave in the room we didn’t notice a couple of aging issues as far as chips or dings in the furniture itself, but that was of course tiki tech that we noticed there’s also a couple of footprints on the walls which was hard to explain to somebody, but you would think that hotel services with I found that the pool and hot tub was not used by myself. My Spouse did use it and said it was very nice and then there was some confusing information on Hotels.com website Hotels.com website says it’s a outdoor seasonal pool and it’s only open August through October. However it is actually an indoor enclosed pool and is open year-round. It’s open from 8 AM to 11 PM and after 9 PM it is adults only 21 and over the breakfast was just cereal a couple of pastries and a couple pieces of toast that was about it there was no other options in that

Great peaceful place. Clean rooms and very plesant staff. Jacuzzi room is the best for relaxing time.

My spouse and I were in the Frankenmuth area over a weekend in May 2026 and needed a place to stay on the Friday night of our trip, so we had chosen this Baymont in Bridgeport for its good location and the fact that the reviews on TripAdvisor seemed acceptable enough. All in all, this hotel was okay. The property seems a bit dated but it served its purpose for the night. Our check-in process unfortunately took a while when we arrived at around 8 p.m. There were a few other guests in line checking in ahead of us, and unfortunately, the lady working the desk had to check rooms before she could allow us into them. I think she told me that the reason she had to do this was to confirm that housekeeping had cleaned up the rooms and made them presentable enough for the guests. Not her fault at all because she was just doing her job, but I wonder if there's some type of management/organizational issue where the housekeeping staff aren't confirming with the front desk that they've taken care of each room (not sure, but it was terribly inefficient). I guess some of these rooms had recently been painted, and the room we were supposed to get (a room with one king-sized bed) didn't have a mirror on the wall yet in the bathroom/vanity area. She asked if we were okay taking a room without a mirror which was an absolute no-deal for us. So we were put in a different room that had two queens. Not the type of room we had originally reserved, but it least there was a mirror. One other annoying thing about this hotel was that people were smoking marijuana in the parking lot. We can't stand that smell, and it didn't give us a great impression of the place. Despite these setbacks, the hotel was okay and we slept all right. We really appreciated the hot tub in the pool area! That was nice to use. Again... a bit dated but the hot tub felt great. I can't speak to the breakfast because we ended up getting breakfast elsewhere in the morning. I felt bad for the staff member because she was just doing her job (she was nice about everything), but it seemed like there were some issues with how this place was managed. I will say, though... it was fine for one night. Just an average hotel that served its purpose okay.
