The accommodation was great and the hosts were exceptionally warm and welcoming. They provided a fabulous breakfast which included scrumtious local delicacies. They also provided insightful tips with regard to must-see sights and ezperiences including great value-for-money restarants and cafes. For us, it was a bonus that our hosts spken fluent English as our Italien is very poor. A truly memorable booking. Thanks so much. Trevor & Sue

We spent wonderful days in Palermo. Lori and Daniel welcomed us upon arrival. From the very first moment, it felt as if we had been friends for a long time. They catered to our every need and were incredibly hospitable. I didn’t just get what I expected—I got so much more. If it were possible, I would give them all the stars.

Lory und Daniele waren sehr hilfsbereit, unglaublich freundlich und sehr warmherzig. Man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und insgesamt war alles sehr hygienisch und gepflegt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Besonders schön war, dass Daniele jeden Morgen frischen Kaffee für uns zubereitet hat. Außerdem haben die beiden uns tolle Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten in Palermo und gute Restaurantempfehlungen gegeben.

Während unseres Aufenthalts gab es leider eine Gruppe von Gästen, die sich sehr unangemessen verhalten hat. Diese saßen abends immer wieder im Frühstücksbereich, haben dort hochprozentigen Alkohol getrunken, waren betrunken und sehr laut, sodass es nachts zu einer starken Lärmbelästigung kam. Trotz mehrfacher Bitten durch uns und die Gastgeber hat sich das Verhalten zunächst nicht geändert. Am Ende wurden diese Gäste glücklicherweise durch den Gastgeber mit Unterstützung der Polizei aus der Unterkunft verwiesen. Dafür können die Gastgeber selbstverständlich nichts; es war eine sehr bedauerliche Ausnahme. Ein weiterer kleiner Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Zimmer etwas hellhörig sind, was in einer zentralen Stadtlage für manche ungewohnt sein kann.

La location è bella, pulita, in una buona posizione a pochi minuti dal centro cittadini e dal porto. La colazione è ottima, fatta con prodotti locali. Ma qui si va oltre una recensione, o un 10. Perché quello che ti fa "rimanere dentro" Palermo non è solo l'ottimo cibo e la città in se, ma le persone. A partire proprio dagli host. Non credo di aver mai trovato una simile gentilezza e disponibilità. Danno tutte le informazioni sulla città, dalle cose da vedere ai ristoranti, e sulla Sicilia in generale, facendoti davvero venire voglia di tornare ancora e ancora. Non ho mai parlato così tanto "prima del caffè". Spero di tornare a Palermo e di soggiornare ancora da loro.
