BIG4 Port Willunga Tourist Park

The property had everything we needed .

The jumpy castle could have been open a little earlier as the young ones wake up early.

The location was great. Coffee from the kiosk was excellent.

For an apparently deluxe cabin it was quite disappointing. Old and tired, needs refurbishing. One three seater couch to supply a possible five people. Small outside balcony with only two chairs and one small table so couldn't sit outside and eat. Couldn't use the heater as it set off the smoke detector every time i put it on. ( it was very cold in the mornings) There were no ceiling fans as advertised ( it was very warm in the afternoons) The bottom double bunk bed was so far away from the wall that the pillows kept falling in the gap. The dooner on lower bunk didn't even have a cover and was really thin. Couldn't use the dvd player and there were no instructions as to how to use it. The pedal bikes that i hired for an hour for the children were just too hard for them to pedal on the gravel and dirt paths. There was no concrete or set place for them to ride so they gave up after about 20 minutes. I heard other visitors saying the same thing. The mini golf wasn't worth doing. The holes were either filled with dirty water or they were filled with concrete so the whole point of the kids getting the ball in the hole was taken away. Swimming pools were both like getting into ice water, no heating whatsoever there even to just take the chill off.

Proximity to the amazing beaches

The location was good. The room was comfortable enough, although small. The township of Aldinga was within a few minutes of driving. The laundry and bathroom facilities were clean and within a reasonable walking distance from our wooden tent. It met all of our needs.

Nothing really that the park could have controlled: we did have a neighbour who was a little "suss".
