La Casina della Tagià

Good location! The property is relatively high up in the town, but can be accessed entirely via a long ramp and just one small flight of downward stairs at the end. Can step right off the train and be there within 6-7 minutes. The room is very cute, well-furnished and comfy. The room's temperature was very easy to manage, and it felt snug even with a storm coming down outside. Staff were very helpful and responsive, easy to get hold of and helped us with some requests. They also provide some additional separate services, including a nice boat tour package that was well-priced compared to other local offerings. We felt like we had our own space and privacy, but also benefitted from help being close by and just a message away.

The range on the stovetop is very finnicky. Had a hard time getting the gas to light and stay lit. Which is fine, no sane person is visiting Cinque Terre and cooking up some Barilla noodles for dinner. But it did make it a bit hard to brew a cup of tea. Also the curtains, while a very cute vibrant yellow, are so thin that they're basically sheer. They do not keep any light out whatsoever. Pack an eyemask if you're a sensitive sleeper! Final note, the unit comes with a washer but not a dryer. So you will have to dry everything with a clothesline outside the window. Which is fine, and pretty authentically Italian... unless it rains. Or in our case, storms. Check the weather and make sure you have a backup laundry plan!

The apartment had everything I needed. it is spacious and a beautiful apartment- looks just like the picture. Manarola is a lovely place to stay

I was really keen to use the patio but it is right by quite a busy path and just by the from doo so it is very open. The pathway is quite noisy at night as the apartment is ground level at night and in a junction. There were only thin net curtains at the windows. Also I had not realised there was no wifi.
