Mayan Monkey Tulum - Social Hotel

The atmosphere of the hostel was great, with a very social and welcoming environment that made it easy to meet new people. The facilities were clean, the common areas were lively, and the location was convenient. What made the biggest difference, however, was the staff. Denis Cruz at the reception was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and always greeted guests with a smile. He went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. I also joined the cenote tour with him, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my stay. His positive energy, local knowledge, and genuine interest in guests created a fantastic experience.

El chico del bar (un extranjero) no sentí que fuera amable de verdad! Lo intentaba, pero no parece natural, en cambio el resto del staff excelente. Gracias ♥️

Habitaciones espaciosas, personal atento y amable, es mi tercera vez que me alojo en Mayan Monkey un buenas atención en recepción, aunque solo fue un dia me la pase super muy recomendado y en area de la barra buen atención, es buen lugar para una vacaciones mayan te hace que te lleve una buena experiencia y lo hizo bien 👍 Gracias mayan monkiey por la estancia...

Tuve una experiencia increíble en Mayan Monkey Tulum. Desde que llegas se siente un ambiente súper relajado, divertido y muy bien cuidado. Las camas y habitaciones son demasiado cómodas; honestamente no se siente como un simple hostal, se acerca muchísimo a la experiencia de un hotel de lujo pero con una vibra mucho más social y auténtica. Todo el lugar se mantiene muy limpio y cuidado, y algo que realmente hace la diferencia es el personal: siempre fueron muy amables, atentos y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento, haciendo que la estancia se sintiera todavía más agradable. Las actividades que organizan son muy dinámicas y divertidas, siempre hay algo que hacer y es muy fácil conocer gente de todas partes. Además, la ubicación es excelente, está muy cerca tanto de las playas como del centro de Tulum, así que moverse es súper práctico. Definitivamente fue una experiencia que disfruté muchísimo y sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí. Súper recomendado.

¡Increíble estancia! Sin duda, uno de los mejores hoteles en los que me he hospedado. Las instalaciones son modernas, limpias y muy bien cuidadas. El ambiente es divertido y perfecto para conocer gente de todo el mundo. El personal siempre fue amable y atento, dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento. La ubicación es excelente y las actividades que organizan hacen la experiencia aún más especial. Food and peaceful environment .mostly staff very friendly special thanks for Denise,Stephanie they were so helpful. Also Bryan is very professional and kind ( Who serve breakfast)

Well maintained.

That I had to show my passport to check in. A valid form of ID such as driver’s license should be sufficient to check in. You are not at a border nor are you border services. My driver’s license was accepted at every other stay I had.

The ambience at Mayan Monkey itself makes you want to extend your stay. The staff are fantastic, they offer lots of activities, and the breakfast includes real Mexican options as well. Not to mention the remote working facilities - the WiFi couldn’t be better! Francesca’s yoga sessions are outstanding, the guys at the reception are very helpful, and the bar is just as great thanks to Carlos and Brian! Remek ötlet volt a Mayan Monkey hotel, egyből két hetet is eltöltöttem itt. A szoba tökéletes, a személyzet nagyon korrekt és mindez baráti áron. Visszajövök.

The room was clean

No electricity and no solutions offered by staff. Restaurant staff secretly add tips to the bill and pressure you to pay in advance. Promises for refunds were made by the staff but in the end they redirect you to the booking customer service.
