Thingholt Apartments

Great apartment, had laundry machine, great coffeemaker, comfortable beds. Good location. Easy check in.

Side deck was very slippery - I fell down. The towels were thin and not enough for our family or 4 for a 2 night stay. Need to supply more towels.

Good sized apartment conveniently situated just a short walk from the main shopping street, yet situated in a quiet residential street. Also very handy for the drop off/pick up buses. Apartment was nicely furnished and all rooms were of a good size. Tea and coffee making facilities provided and small kitchen area was just right for our stay.

clearer explanation of the functions on the microwave oven could be useful and additional larger towels would be a bonus.

We loved that we had so much room and the way the apartment had been decorated. It was a great location for exploring the city on foot while still feeling like we were in a residential rather than hotel/busy area.

The only downside was that the main bedroom could be a bit noisy with occasional people walking by at night. Earplugs easily remedied that, though.

Fantastic location close to everything but still had a quiet and relaxed setting. Apartment had a homely feel while having all the helpful modern conveniences. It was very warm and nice and clean. Attractive building from the outside too.

Was unclear from the photos/description that the apartment in in the 'basement' with entrance around the rear. Once inside this didn't matter too much though. And since the building is built on a slope there were still nice view of the city through the rear windows.

but be careful, Reykjavik city parking fee from 9am-9pm. Location is in the prettiest part of Reykjavik city. The apartment has everything you need.

Needs shelves or a small table in bathroom. Better hooks.

Perfect location

These are minor details but could do with some bedside lamps for reading and bedroom mirrors-also some shelves in bathroom for make up :) Would recommend the apartment its quiet and very comfortable.

Very cozy, comfortable and warm. Everything was sparkling clean. Good collection of books too

Excellent Location in walking distance to the main areas of Reykjavik, really clean apartment with comfortable lounge and sleeping areas and also very spacious. Host was extremely helpful and replied instantly to any questions that we had.
