La cena y el desayuno superaron ampliamente nuestras expectativas. Quizás fue la mejor experiencia de nuestro viaje. Los anfitriones fueron súper gentiles. Nos hicieron sentir como en nuestra casa y nos transmitieron su cultura. La ubicación del ryokan sobre la cascada fue un gran highlight también. El sonido del agua y la vista de los árboles fue muy relajante.

Les chambres sont admirablement situées au dessus d'un petit torrent et face à la forêt : on est en contact avec la nature ! Nous avons particulièrement aimé le bain japonais privé attenant à la chambre et ouvrant sur l'extérieur, ce qui permet de se relaxer tout en contemplant les arbres et en écoutant le torrent. Mention spéciale au dîner absolument succulent, et que l'on prend dans une très belle salle, toujours face à la forêt. Accueil et service impeccables.

Absolutely wonderful inn to stay at (Ryokan), and our favorite stay of a two week Japan trip. It felt like an authentic Japanese experience, while still being very accessible to foreigners like us. The owners are very friendly and attentive right from when you arrive. The rooms are a traditional style with tatami floors. The rooms look out over a small creek so it is very peaceful. They will set up the futon beds for you in the evening. I have a bad back so was a little worried about the sleeping comfort but had no issues! Dinner (and breakfast) are included and are a culinary experience. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into these meals that use a lot of local ingredients. If you have a room without hot tub, you can reserve a time for the common hot tub to get your own private onsen experience. They have two covered parking spots available.
