Coorg Jungle Camp Backwater Resort

We visited the Coorg Jungle camp Backwater Resort recently, stayed for 2 nights. The resort is very beautiful, located on the side of harangi Reservoir offering best exotic views with lush green well maintained infinity pool, hygienic rooms, tasty food, friendly staffs, one of the best part in the resort is campfire with live singing some melodies old Hindi songs took us to 90s memory. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great experience, we recommend this property to our families and friends

This is not even a 3 star. Location : only plus point is view of the back waters. Very very far away from main coorg city. It's about 10km inside the jungle. Rooms : the hotel is under construction. There is continuous noise of construction work. Rooms are very outdared. Too much and frequent power cut. Bathrooms are very smelly. Food: breakfast has good qualand taste. There are only 2 ppl working in restaurant. You need to wait fir 45 mins after every food order. The options of food is very.limited. most of the items in menu is not available. Better look for hotel options in main coorg city.

Poorly managed resort, no internet connectivity to rooms , no proper amenities provided like water for rooms . Indoor activities is just for name sake . I dont recommend this , 5k per day for person is waste of money here . Staff in reception are not professional.

Resort is good and located near lake with direct access to the lake inside the resort. Food is managed very badly and restaurant staff is very rude and careless. We had both Dinner and Breakfast which was not resort standard, it was more like beggars in front of temple waiting for food to get reloaded and fight for your portion, very pathetic scenes and unfortunately our kids has to satisfy with Bread and cornflakes, very disgusting scenes and poorly handled by hotel management staff, not worth visiting paying money of a 4 star resort and seeing service not even like 0 star cheap hotels.

Only thing which I found good was the view from balcony. Remaining complementary amenities like swiming pool, indoor games, child park, dance set, singer, cycles were like checkboxes. They could have given people good food in form of lunch/dinner instead. which was not included in package and also was whoppingly costly, given there are no other means to buy food in that remote place. Breakfast was average. Greedy management mindset I would say, they need to be more customer centric.

Stayed here for one day. Place is good with beautiful Harangi back water view and sun rise. Rooms are neat. Food is really good in taste, but less need to add some more options in buffet. The chef Raghav Pujari Sir is really nice and help in getting what kind of food want even they not listed in their menu. Best place to stay and visit near places in 2 days..

Excellent resort with Great View. The staff and service is mind blowing. Jeffery the Manager handles the guest with great dedication and service at the best. Must Visit place in Coorg. Food is finger licking. Will recommend this place & come back again.

It's a below average resort more like a hotel nothing special about it, people choose mainly because of backwater, but they can visit backwater instead of staying here, food it normal nothing great about it, it's a very old properly with no maintenance

View from Balcony was Mind Blowing food was Yummy and The Room service was Excellent,Room are clean and well organised Food options were amazing as well.coffee plantation tour was an Incredible experience.if planning for Coorg it is the best place one can stay great place to enjoy your vacation.and staff was highly active with friendly & Supportive 👌Thank you

The location is favorable due to its proximity to backwater, although it is considerably distant from the city center. The rooms are very clean. Insects and bugs enter rooms when doors are open. It is imperative that we maintain the doors in a closed position. Buffet offerings are available, although alternatives for à la carte are limited. The quality of services and sleep is satisfactory. The price is somewhat high.
