Very quiet!

The tap water was great - so soft! Great for washing hair. The bed was comfy enough. A quiet area and walkable. A very good pizzeria is just a 10-min walk away.

The nearby church rang the bells every day and quite early in the morning.

Fantastic Modern very clean coffee tea available fridge very spacious bathroom with a lovely powerful hot shower. comfy bed, Parking close by self check in didn’t meet any staff / host but spoke on the phone when we arrived and she was very happy and helpful.

We were disappointed that the restaurant opposite which is advertised as part of the accommodation was not open perhaps the site should advise the opening / closing days hours of this restaurant or maybe we should have asked however we did find a fabulous restaurant further away approx 10km which we really enjoyed but initially after driving many km’s and hours that day we really didn’t want to drive to eat but never mind we did enjoy our stay :)

The house is in a beautiful location and the standard room was very clean when we arrived. The picnic hamper is a nice addition and came in very handy. And the bed was very comfortable. My only negative opinion was we booked a 11 night stay and could only have the room cleaned if we paid an additional €20. I would have liked clean towels and a basic room clean at least once while we were there for a longer stay. But overall a lovely place in the real Tuscan countryside.

Rental car window was broken, while unloading our luggage. Backpack was stolen with passports, money medication and etc

This is not a hotel as advertised on Expedia. There is no open restaurant, bar or attached winery as stated on the Expedia description. The accommodation itself is fantastic, very clean and comfortable and has clearly had time and money put into it. The beds were very comfortable. I was sent check in instructions an hour before check in so did not meet the host at any point during my stay. There is access to the pool in Casa D’Africa which is a restaurant opposite the accommodation. The guests have exclusive use of this on certain days during the week although no one checks this and there were many people who were clearly not guests just turning up to use the pool. On a Monday night this restaurant has a “party night” so there are all sorts of people turning up in their cars and there is music and partying until around 1-2am. That should be advertised before booking, especially if you have young children with you and are trying to sleep. Casa D’Africa is closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday so we did not get to eat in the restaurant. The location of the property is out of the way of the town so you do need a car to get to local restaurants etc. So there is no where to get a drink or eat something at the hotel. The host has created a very helpful instruction book with local restaurants, vineyard tours etc. We had a comfortable stay but it was nothing like I expected and so I wanted to give an honest review so that people know what to expect.

The hotel and room were beautiful. Very clean and plenty of space in the room for 2 people. The host was extremely helpful, and had good communication. The location was stunning with beautiful views.

We arrived back to our room at 9.45pm to find the restaurant opposite was having a pool party and all the reserved hotel parking, restaurant parking, and any off road parking was full. It took us half an hour trying to get parked and had to speak to the restaurant owner. There was also loud music coming from the party which our room faced out to. The air conditioning unit in the room was not cool enough for the heat even when set to full and 15°C.
