Mulu Diana Homestay

The owner, Diana, is very kind and friendly. The dinner and breakfast she made were very delicious. The garden is very big so we enjoyed fishing, playing football and walking with the dogs and chickens. The room was very clean. We loved relaxing on the balcony with the fresh air and the view of the river.

A bit far from the national park and the airport

Lovely hosts, great food. Transport to and from Mulu was easy to organise with Diana. Right by the river. Bonus pets (dogs and cats). Diana did some washing for me and it smelt AMAZING, she had even taken the time to iron and neatly fold all the items. Diana and her family are lovely to chat to and will go above and beyond to ensure all your needs are met!

Air conditioning would be a good addition. For me the fans were enough for a good sleep though.

The location

Charming Diana and family make everything to make you feel at home. First time in Malaysia and best food ever tried so far. Nice place with a terrace with great views on the river. Had a great time talking with other travellers and meeting new people at Diana’s.
