"Better to stay in the park!"

the food was decent, but not really as good as the other reviews claimed!

Be Aware - the owner will charge you 5myr per person for rides to and from the national park or airport... so that’s 20 myr a day extra for a couple. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal, but considering that’s the ONLY way to get to this far away location, its seems like it should just be included in the price! Also she kind of frowned anytime we asked for anything, so not super friendly either.

"Superb"

Our room was spacious and clean, and Diana is a great host and an excellent cook; if you're planning to spend the days at the park (which I assume most guests are) this is all you need. Overall, were very happy with our stay.

Nothing really; we had realistic expectations about staying at a homestay.

Diana homestay is quite convenient as you can request for car shuttle service to/from airport and national park. Also you can dine in the homestay for lunch and dinner with a fee. Diana is also very welcoming and a good host to the guests.

Electric is only for a certain period of time as the place still rely on generator.

Diana is a very friendly host. A good place to be a nearer to the people of Mulu. Interesting spot to see how the supply is done on the river. Good place to be just simple.

The house is a bit run down. Bathroom is praktically not working. A contrast to the friedlyness of the owner. Transport to and fro will be extra charged. But nevertheless a authentic place to stay in Mulu!
