Dimora Upper City - Bergamo Alta

Everything was great. The location, cleanliness and very comfortable apartment with all amenities you may need. hostess was very helpful. Definitely a great choice.

I travel a lot to Italy. I know the area around Bergamo/Milan well. I can truthfully say, however, that I have never found such a charming, good value accommodation. Dimora is brand new, put together with a design flair and quality features and fittings. Yet behind the high end styling there is an ancient palazzo - as is visible from the 16th century frescoes that peep through the new plaster in points. the location is superb - round the corner from the main street in Bergamo's charmingissimo upper town. breakfast is on offer at a special deal in the cafe where Stracciatella ice cream was invented, and the owner, Barbara, is the most welcoming, understanding and charming of hosts. It's hard to find the word to rate this appartment. Something like "exceptional "might do?
