The White Swan

We stay here every year for an event we attend nearby and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The staff are amazingly helpful and the hotel is fantastic value for money. The rooms are always clean and great, with a lovely restaurant.

Quiet location, parking, friendly staff. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

The bathroom was so hot it was like a sauna. It made the bedroom hot even with the windows open.

Always a great place to stay. Great food as usual. Parking is Ok and if the car park is full, you can park in the adjoining road. Rooms aren't very big, but they are adequate and modern.

Beautiful location.

Smell from the pipes and noisy above the kitchen. Constant sound of fans. But staff moved my parents when informed about the smell.

Fabulously comfortable room - bed was great and I got an excellent night's sleep, the lighting is soft and not overpowering and the bathroom was spotlessly clean with endless hot water on tap. For a quick overnighter, The White Swan is excellent value and hard to beat!

Restaurant felt rushed (bar closed at 10pm) and the staff were hurried; a bit more care and attention would have been lovely.
