The price was right; the room was clean and the TV worked. The staff was friendly and helpful. While the hotel is dated, it was well maintained. The only disappointment was the breakfast.

If I could leave a lower review I would. We stayed at this hotel this week and not only was it not in a great location and very uncomfortable, the service was terrible. It felt dirty and the elevators seemed unsafe. Air conditioning came on with no way to turn it down. Everything needs to be renovated. My husband is a globalist and we needed to check out a day early due to how disappointed we were with the hotel. I went down to let the woman at the front desk know we were checking out a day early and she said no problem and thanks for being a globalist. However, she failed to actually check us out. Then when confronted about why we were charged she lied and said I never told her we were checking out. This is absolutely the worst Hyatt we have stayed. Bad location and outdated hotel might be on us for not researching but dishonest staff is unacceptable. If you are in Franklin and want to stay at a Hyatt make sure you stay at Hyatt House NOT at Hyatt Place!! Worst Ever!!

Middle Tennessee experienced a significant ice storm in late January that the local power company was unfortunately unable to handle. After three nights in our cold home, we checked into our local Hyatt Place hotel for warmth and relaxation. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable -- a welcome respite. A neighbor who traveled with us also liked her room. The hotel was full of many local residents who were staying for the same reason. We were very happy that the hotel charged us normal rates when some other establishments might take advantage of a situation. Front desk clerk Jasmine was a great help and friendly face. When I had trouble booking the rooms online using my cell phone, she answered my call and patiently booked the reservations for the two rooms. When we arrived later in the day, she was friendly and welcoming. During our two-night stay, Jasmine was helpful to the many locals who were staying at the hotel -- most of us refugees of the ice storm. We always appreciate a hot breakfast at Hyatt Place. Unfortunately, icy road conditions prevented the food service from making all of their deliveries in time for breakfast on our first morning. The hotel did the best they could with baked goods from the nearby Costco. Breakfast was almost back to normal for our second morning. Our room was the normal Hyatt Place setup with a sitting area adjacent to the sleeping area and a shared-space TV on the wall. The wet bar had a small refrigerator but no microwave (we used a microwave in the first-floor breakfast area). Everything was clean and comfortable. We always appreciate a split-bath since it is convenient for two in the room. If needed, we would certainly stay at the Cool Springs area Hyatt Place Hotel. Parking is good, and the traffic light at one of the entrance driveways provides safe exit from the hotel.

The room was clean, spacious, and the overall hotel was maintained nicely. The entire staff was friendly and professional, making for a pleasant stay overall.

The online description for "Coffee to Cocktails" is highly inaccurate. While it claims to serve premium wines and cocktails, the lounge was closed during the evening throughout my stay. When I did find someone, the only option available was beer—no wine or spirits in sight. The listing needs to be updated to reflect that there is no functioning restaurant or bar on-site to avoid misleading future guests

I couldn't find a desk clerk when I arrived. Approximately 8-10 min waiting on a desk clerk arrival 8:30 PM roughly. Room was 58 degrees when I entered.
