"Horrible and shuttle wouldn’t come"

Globalist member here and travel a lot for work and fun. I honestly don’t remember experience this bad and hotel this run down. And the fact that bathroom has mold and the side table is about to fall off isn’t the most irritating. I called to arrange the shuttle before we even took off from Chicago, and they said “Call when you are at the pickup spot, it will be 15-20min”. Well… I called at 8:15 when we were at the pickup spot and once again: “15-20min”… but the shuttle wouldn’t come. All other hotels had their shuttles come and go but not this one. Another mother and her daughter were waiting for it as well and said they had already been there for 30min. I called several times to check - “it’s on its way”. Then we finally called again close to 9pm and the receptionist plainly hung up on us. We ended up walking over to the uber line and getting an uber. They finally called my cell at 9pm saying the guy was pulling in. I don’t expect much from airport hotels, but people stay there for one reason only - convenience and easy transportation to the airport. I also get it that things happen, and if they had told us “45min wait” - we would have taken an uber right away and not wasted almost an hour. And very importantly - the receptionist shouldn’t hang up on people. We are in an uber now going back to the airport to catch our flight - can’t trust the shuttle.

"Vreselijk hotel!"

Hele vieze kamer. De dekens hadden vlekken en de kamer werd amper schoongemaakt. Heel het hotel rook naar wiet en de meeste mensen, op 1 dame na, keken niet op of om naar de gasten. Het ontbijt was enorm karig en we betaalden voor een hotel met zwembad, maar dat was gesloten tijdens ons verblijf. Sla deze plek over!

"Ok customer service but ghetto guests and cigarette smelling hallways"

Customer service wasn’t bad but there was a ghetto couple arguing and fighting loudly in the hallway and the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke
