Hot tub was brilliant and the peace and quiet was good the host was always checking in over the phone to see if everything was going and if I needed any help would definitely recommend 👍

Location. Newcastle and the Mourne mountains are fabulous.

Place is falling apart. Door handles broken, shower head falling off wall. Very irritating. Hot tub is extra cost, not covered. Pipe burst when we turned on the jets. Dealing with the host was a joke. No toilet roll in one bathroom. Stay away from here.

Lovely wee place. Bed in one of the bedrooms has seen better days, hence not full marks. We were only there for a day so gave up halfway through filling the hot tub. Might have been nice to have it filled before arrival but I'm sure there's a reason not to. Overall very good host, location, and place.

This cottage is in a great location, close to Newcastle, Castlewellan, Tullymore, Murlough and more. However the mattresses need replaced and are very uncomfortable to sleep on. The hottub is a nice feature but for anyone unfamiliar with this type of hottub, you cannot regulate the heat, and once it gets warm enough to get into it quickly gets too hot to be enjoyable. It takes away from the experience having to get out multiple times to add cold water. Also, unfortunately the listing is not accurate, it does not have a pool table or table tennis, and very strangley Jo tried to defend the mistake, and it felt like I was being blamed for believing the listing! For this reason I would not stay here again. I tried to add photographs of the listing and the messages Jo sent me but the link isn't working.

Broken outside wooden table and benches not looked after so wood rotting The slide shown in the advertised pictures was badly broken thankfully we had no children with us Multiple cobwebs over front windows and door I had to brush them all off Dirty shower base Needs a thorough clean Windows need painted peeling and grubby. Internal doors stripped and just left Windows double glazed but many steamed up all the time Conservatory doors not opening locks were broken made it difficult for elderly father to enter from car as property was to be on one level and we had to enter through key in back door up steps Not as advertised Was to have scenic views of mountains but views were covered by trees

The owner was very nice and communicated very well throughout our stay the Stay in general was very good, very close to lots of destinations
