Under contraction and refurbishing. Still lot of work needed to address cleanness. Breakfast was a 4(1-5 scale). Another pet friendly hotel I booked did not charge a pet fee.

The photographs used on Expedia were not accurate as to the actual condition of the facility. Looks like it was from the 70s carpets were old worn and stained. The hallway and the second floor had no air conditioning so the temperature was about 30 to 35° higher than the rest of the facility Do the conditions of the facility I didn’t even stay for breakfast. I got up at 4:30 and hit the road by 5 AM.

"What a Dump! Warning, Stay Away!"

2.0

We originally tried to book a room at the Baymont by Wyndham in Jackson Tn. but were told there were no rooms available. She recommended the La Quinta by Wyndham just a few miles from there. She said it was also a very nice hotel that should have rooms available and also provided free breakfast. When we got there, we noticed only 4 vehicles in the lot and at the back of the lot several storage trailers. The grounds looked unkept and overgrown. Almost all the rooms in the 3 story hotel were dark and looked to have no window curtains (we half expected to see Norman Bates mother to be looking out of one of them). As we entered the hotel lobby, we noticed several VERY LARGE carboard boxes in the breakfast dining area and a "construction" plastic sheet along one wall. The woman at check-in was very pleasant and informed us that the only room available was a single queen bed handicap room on the first floor, which was fine with us. Going to our room we noticed the hallway carpet was quite filthy as if it hasn't been cleaned in many years. The room itself was okay, just a basic room. although we didn't see what made it a "handicap room" compared to a regular queen bed room. As for the breakfast. The juice machine was out of order, but there were small single serving cups of cranberry juice in the countertop cooler. There was a single coffee maker with an orange spout handle (was it really "decaf" or regular coffee). The waffle batter came out very slow and thick and stopped before the cup was full. The plates available were only half the size of the waffle. There was no butter for the waffle etc. The danish was a packaged cheese danish, which according to the package, was a week out of date. The "liquid" coffee creamer was thick and chunky. As for the ice machines. A sign by the elevator said the ice machines were on the second and third floors behind the elevators. When I got off of the elevator on the second floor, a woman from housekeeping informed me the ice machines had been removed. If this is what Wyndham considers a "very nice hotel" I'd hate to see what they consider a dump. At $97.00 for one night here we feel we were overcharged by about $25.00 for what we got! I was sent an e-mail by the hotel after my stay asking me to review our stay. I sent them the response you see above. Within a hour of sending this, I received a text from them saying they were sorry we "were unhappy with your experience". They said a team member would follow up by text with me shortly. The team member did text back and asked what our issues were. I told her that my review pretty much said it all, but I gave her a basic run down. Her response was "Your input is valuable to us in enhancing our services. We will address the issues you mentioned to ensure a better experience for all our guests." That was two days ago and the last I've heard from them. We booked our reservation on the fly using our cellphone as it was already 9:30pm and we were still 4 hours from our destination. We relied on the Wyndham Reservationist word that it was "a very nice hotel". I wish we had stopped and checked this place out on my laptop. I have since looked it up when I got back home. According to it's reviews this location has had these issues since before May of 2019! So the response of "Your input is valuable to us in enhancing our services. We will address the issues you mentioned to ensure a better experience for all our guests." is nothing more than corporate BS! Additionally, the first group of pictures on the website are a sick joke! (along with the "100% Satisfaction Guarantee") The later guest photos paint a better picture of this location. I wish I had taken the time to also take some photos.

"Absolutely Do Not Recommend"

2.0

I made the reservation on line due to location and that they accepted pets. Absolutely filthy. All electrical outlets covered by plates except for those in use for TV and lamp. No plug ins or USB ports on the lamps of the first room assigned to me. I was moved to another room in which lamps had plug-ins and USB ports. It was equally dirty. There was a plunger in the bathroom which was not reassuring. I was told there were no other available rooms that night, and after doing a search could not find another acceptable hotel in the area that had vacancies and accepted pets. There were stains in the bathtub, so I did not shower there.

This place is literally a dump. LaQuinta should be embarrassed to have their name on the front. I’ll never stay at another LaQUinta just out of protest. All the other negative reviews are spot on. Why Hotels.com has this on their list is beyond me. This place should be bulldozed.

We pulled in the parking lot of this hotel and we immediately chose to cancel the reservation. Tall weeds crowed up all around the front of the building, mattresses standing up in the windows, some windows had plastic taped over them, outside front entrance had tiles falling off, only 3 other cars in the parking lot, swimming pool still had winter cover on it with green stagnate water standing on it with grass and trees growing. Only part of the hotel had rooms that was operational. This looked like a very unsafe place to be. We left. Was also given the runaround when we tried canceling the room.

"We thought it was abandoned when we drove up"

2.0

I don't even know where to start. It was like when Daniel Laruso pulled up to their new apartment in Laraye Kid- nothing like the pictures and in shambles. It was disgusting. Grounds overrun with weeds. Pool area closed and overgrown. Building falling apart. Carpets soiled and disgusting. Room carpet was actually a bit sticky. Filthy walls. We had 6 days booked here and stayed one night and had Wyndham cancel the rest of the reservation. Owner said they "were working on a remodel". If that's the case it should be condemned until they are done.
