La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Oshkosh

Toilet was messed up to where it kept running after you flushed. Walked into the room thinking someone was just in there. No bag for ice bucket. Unsanitary.

Exterior of hotel in bad need of cleaning. Rooms also need updating. Phones not working. Guests with barking dogs were numerous. Parking lot seemed to be a hangout for guests late into the night.

The location is great. Close to everything. Fox River Brewing is phenomenal food and beer (a mile away). Sakura Sushi is a favorite (also only mile away). Close to my family's Airbnb on the lake.

Outside looks rough. It's said in many other reviews with the same generic reply, but if that's what keeps the price low, I'm fine with it. The TV has hospitality mode set so we couldn't control the volume. We just wanted to turn it DOWN. Front desk came to the rescue with a handful of remotes until he found one that worked.

Convenient locale, friendly staff, car parking looks safe, check-in very easy, room’s air temp controls easy to use/quite adaptable, bed and pillows super comfortable, plenty of TV channels — ** major downside Room 128 bathtub has large repaired crack that didn’t hold, now when showering the open crack allows water to leak from underneath the tub out onto tile floor - slippery when wet - tub definitely needs replacement

Your tap water tastes terrible. I kept having to buy water bottles. It would be great if you provided them to your guests for free.

Gym. Quiet. Breakfast.
