Good location, beautiful building and interesting entrance area. The room was big and clean, the bed was comfortable.

The room was on the ground floor, dark and with a view on the barren courtyard. There was no privacy, as there were other rooms on the opposite side and no blinds apart from a heavy curtain. Fitnesscenter is located in the same room as the sauna. The service/stuff was not good during my stay. Upon my arrival, the woman at the counter was neither communicative not welcoming, it felt like a self-check-in with very little initiative from her side. She then locked me in the luggage compartment, which was only noticed because of other guests..no active apology from hotel side. At breakfast, full cups were cleared away when I went to the buffet.

"Provosert av snikgebyr på noe som kunne blitt en hyggelig innsjekk."

Sentralt

Hadde labba i 1.5 timer ned fra heia, ankom hotellet 13:30. Varm og klar for en dusj. Rommet var klart, men jeg måtte betale 150kr for tidlig innsjekk. Tok en øl på Markens i stedet. Ynkelig måte å få inn ekstra penger. Hvor ble det av servicen og gjestene først? Leste etterpå at de tar betalt for tidlig innsjekk og sen utsjekk. Ikke greit, jobba mange år i bransjen. Hvordan få gjester til å føle seg spesielle? Andre hotel i byen tar ikke gebyr, for det er det det er, gebyr. Selv om frokost, rom og ansatte var suverene, vil jeg aldri bruke Choice Hotels igjen. Kun av prinsipp.
