Americas Best Value Inn Saint Ignace

This was an Ok Hotel. Decent Room. We enjoyed the pool the jacuzzi was very foamy and scum along the walls. Breakfast was sparse. Employees were nice.

The staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. While the rooms were a little dated, it was obvious from the boxes of new stuff sitting around that the owners are in the process of continuing to update the facility for the greater comfort of its guests. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The provided breakfast was adequate and appreciated. All-in-all a good value for the money. Would stay here again.

Beds were comfortable. Pool area looked nice. Front desk was very friendly. Across street from Mexican restaurant and bar.

Lots of men hanging around outside smoking and goofing around. On balcony in parking lot. Free breakfast wasn't much. No eggs (hard boiled at least would have been nice). It was so hot inside breakfast building. No microwave or eating table in room. Free internet wasn't good. 1 bar off n on. Was told at check in I would have gotten cheaper price if called them direct. Booking.com charges them 20% more to use them. So they pass that charge onto customer. Door on room was hard to push to get into room.

Staff are friendly, courteous. This time of year in St. Ignace, all hotels are booked full. The parking lot was packed. I thought this place was going to be loud but was pleased. Was a quiet night. People are on the move early here. Don't plan on sleeping on.

There was a pool

Paper on back of door was moldy. Beds were uncomfortable.

Rooms were clean. Very few amenities. Lobby was full of supples. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The bed was very uncomfortable. The controls to the AC unit were from back in the 1970s. The thermostat did not work. My wife and I were either freezing cold or very hot. It was so bad that we left and went to another hotel for two nights.

Check in was super quick, the room was super basic. It was fine for the one night stay for my family because we were only there for a few awake hours. It smelled like old smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The door deadbolt didn’t work. The mattress was surprisingly not super uncomfortable, despite it feeling like a spring mattress from 20 years ago. Staff was super friendly though. Overall, if I had to stay again I wouldn’t be devastated but it’s nothing to write home about.

Nice clean room, nice location

Clean rooms. Good breakfast. The laundry facilities were very clean and much appreciated! Three dollars for wash and three dollars to dry. I would definitely stay there again as it’s a great location and a very reasonable price for what you get.
