Minneapolis Marriott Northwest Hotel & Conference Center

The pool area was not warm and the water was on the chilly side. Our whole purpose for the stay was to get our grandchildren together at a pool so this was disappointing. We did report it to the staff and they acted on it right away. We did not go back to the area so not sure that they were able to fix it.

Everything! Especially the staff, we’re all amazing and made me feel like family from the moment I walked. I have never had a better experience and that is including when I worked in hospitality myself.

Wish there was room service available.

This hotel is outstanding. The staff is friendly and helpful and goes above and beyond. The entrance is grand and there is a TON of seating in the lobby area. I enjoyed that as it was more quiet to have conversations rather than in the lounge. I wish I knew of this lobby prior so I would have brought games, cards and/or dice. No hot tub. Swimming pool on the smaller side. Exercise room has a lot of equipment for a hotel, I thought. We stayed in room 330. The room was nicely updated and very spacious. The beds seemed on the smaller side. I wish there would have been a door separating the bedroom and the bathroom. And I felt the bathroom/shower/toilet layout was odd. I felt like the room did have everything except a microwave. The view, however, was terrible. I would, hands down, stay here again!

I always stay here. I have officially fallen in love with this hotel. They have an onsite restaurant, a market that's open 24/7, and a coffee shop for a quick pick me up for in the morning. This place is great for events too, that also tells me I'm not the only one that thinks this hotel is great. Oh,and free breakfast for members.😃

Convenience for our company party.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. Despite being newly renovated, the hotel was dirty and poorly maintained. The issues started immediately: they put us in the WRONG room, and we had to wait over an hour for them to fix their mistake. Then, they didn’t bother to clean our room during our stay. When we asked for something as simple as extra coffee, they acted as though were inconveniencing them or ignored us. To make matters worse, the ice machine was out of order for the entire six days we were there. For a hotel, that’s beyond unacceptable. When we asked them to bring us ice, we were told to find it on a different floor. It gets worse. Friday night, the hotel turned into a party zone. Even on the 6th floor, the noise at 1:30 AM was so unbearable it woke us up. We called the front desk to ask for quiet, but nothing was done. Our request for compensation or even acknowledgment of the problem was met with hostility. Instead of addressing the issue, the hotel retaliated. On Saturday night at 9 PM—while we were quietly in our room—we were thrown out of the hotel! The manager, Mo, was rude, unprofessional, and seemed to enjoy the power trip. This place is not only mismanaged but also hostile toward guests. Save yourself the stress and stay far, far away from this disaster of a property.
