"Great Stay!"

The staff were amazing and helpful. The parking situation was a little inconvenient but we made do. We did have trash in our room from the previous guest. The bar inside of the hotel was great and the staff were incredibly nice!

Historic building with some modern upgrades. As expected, the room was a bit small and bathroom odd with no door. But a near stay near the theatre was a huge bonus.

"Itโ€™s was great location but walls are super thin ."

I love the location of the hotel , every thing was in walking distance from the river walk to the Alamo. The front desk was great , the historical part of the hotel was awesome .

The only bad i can say about the hotel is walls are super thin , you hear it all . At 2am to 4pm on my floor ppl coming back drunk , talking mad loud in the hallways . Few times had to even get up and ask them please we are sleeping have respect, Sad ppl have no respect of others now of days just do whatever they want . I see why they have a white noise machine with ear buds by the bed .

"Vintage hotel and conveniently located. Parking is very expensive."

The hotel was historic and the bars were nice. The hotel is conveniently located near riverwalk and the Alamo.

The rooms were small and the bathrooms were tiny. Parking at the hotel was very expensive.

I had to be placed in 3 rooms all of which the carpets were filthy room 904, 806 & 505. The complimentary breakfast oatmeal was cold I thought I would get an entire hot meal. The lobby was gorgeous nice & clean but the rooms need to be all upgraded. The website should state that there wasn't a pool available. I will never be back to The Gunter!
