"Room was comfortable"

Clean, friendly staff

When I was checking in the customer ahead of me asked about having her pet in the room because there was nothing online about it when she was making the reservation. Staff said they were very pet friendly and she wouldn’t be charged. When it’s my turn (I also made an online reservation, mine was through booking.com) the staff asked me if I had any pets and said it would be $20 extra. Why was I charged and the previous person wasn’t. I didn’t call the staff out about it because I was tired and didn’t want to make a scene…but it burns.

"Not the place for us"

The location

Paper thin walls, could hear everyone around and above us. The air conditioner was dripping water the whole time, we had to put towels under it so we wouldn't slip in water, and the continental breakfast was sad. Everything was burnt( bagels and biscuits). We wouldn't stay here again.

Person at front desk was friendly.

Old, run down building. Very dirty. Place smelled. Air didn’t work very well. We will not stay here again or recommend this to anyone

Staff was courteous

We received no notice that the hotel was under reconstruction prior to arrival. Had to continuously dodge construction debris in the hallway. We were on the third floor; no elevator for 2 days and had to use the stairs. Difficult for my wife that has a heart condition. Our stay lasted 6 nights; the room was not cleaned and we had to ask for fresh towels. I asked for a room on the other side of the adjacent freeway, but was given one facing the freeway, with its associated noise 24 hours per day. This was a huge disappointment compared to our highly satisfactory stay last year. No eggs/meat for breakfast.
