Days Inn by Wyndham Lamar

The room was clean. Not the floors the towel was black after wiping something off floor.

The lady at the front desk, didn't greet us, at all. When I got up to front desk she still didn't say anything. "No hello" - "I'll be right with you" after waiting about 7 minutes she acknowledged I was standing in front of her. 2nd The pool and hot water were dirty, I wouldn't even get it, 3rd. When you pay so much for a room you expect them to have what they say they do. Any hotel I have stayed with, when they said they had breakfast, they do, most the time you get to choose from a big selection. This hotel had coffee and a chewy granola bar. 4th, when I made my reservation and when I got a message from them in the morning asking what time I would be checking out. It prompted me where it said, "a time you would like to check outlate check out at noon, late check out at 1:00 pm for $20.00 or $40.00 for a late check out at 3:00 pm. I had checked the 3:00 pm for the $40.00 as I was in a meeting and my kids were in the room. Thank God that my boys are older cause I could leave them the car keys and they are old enough to drive or this place kicked my kids out at 12:00.. Told them they don't have no such thing and that what I was paying for (I have never had a hotel charge me for a late check out) the time in the room and something that they offered at both reservation screens and a email/text they sent out to me about early check out what should make things more convenient but it definitely wasn't. I can't believe they did this to children and I was willing to even pay more even though they held up to NOTHING that they "offer" or advertise on-line and fake it out. I would never pay what I did for this hotel again!! Was totally out of line.

The only positives were the location and that it’s pet-friendly. Unfortunately, that’s where the good things ended. The overall experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others.

I was very underwhelmed by my stay at this hotel. For the high price point, I expected a much better experience. The room felt unclean, the overall accommodations were lackluster, and the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, the quality just didn’t match the cost, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.

The front desk person was very nice and friendly. My mom is 87, and he had put up upstairs, but she can't do stairs. He got us rooms downstairs right away

My room had a broken security latch, and the deadbolt would not turn. I also had no shower curtain or room phone. We were staying in 3 rooms.The hall door to the outside was kept unlocked. When a staff lady was asked why, she said it so people don't have to walk "all the way" to the main front door. After 9:00 pm. So many flies in the rooms. There was no breakfast. There was coffee and some type of granola bar.

This hotel looks older from the outside, but COMPLETELY renovated inside! The beds are 10/10 for comfort and the overall cleanliness and quality is amazing!

The place looks old, although there have been renovations done to the room it requires more work done. The room had a cigarette smell; it may have been from the smoking room lingering. The blackout curtains did not block out the outside lights. The bed was comfortable.

Well I when I booked and also online it said breakfast included but yet when it was time for breakfast there wasn't any the whole 4 days we was there. The guy that worked that morning said they stopped serving breakfast 2 weeks ago, yet online still says breakfast included.

Josh who works at the front desk went above what he needed to do when my husband left his suitcase in the room. We called back to the Days Inn and Josh had our suitcase shipped to us by UPS. He is an excellent employee. I don’t think there are many hotels that would have done this for us. Thanks to him we will definitely stay at Days Inn again.
