I used the hairdryer in the hotel, which triggered the alarm, and the hotel charged a £200 fine just to turn off the alarm. They blamed that the alarm was from the shower steam, which wasn't the case because no one was taking a shower. They also tried to overcharge me for my dinner bill for something I didn't order. I would not recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel.. large room with massive bed, so comfortable.

I opted out of the full Scottish breakfast and asked only for bacon and fried eggs… they gave me one rasher of bacon and one fried egg! Poor
