Mansion View Inn & Suites

Very old hotel with no ongoing maintenance. Smells like old house and seems like last time it was clean was decades ago. The room is dirty and the air-condition extremely noisy and not deliver cool air. The only fair thing was the bed.

My room was fine. I suspect not all rooms have been updated. There's a little bit of deterioration at the corners of rooms and such. But for the price, my bed was comfortable. The heating and air conditioning worked very well. It was not noisy. And it was convenient.

Beds are old and hard as a brick, toilets didn’t work on either room cold water didn’t work in bathtub so no showers were available in this room so we had to share bathrooms with was ridiculous. Expedia shows nice clean rooms and they were not even close to pictures. I will never stay there again. Homeless people screaming outside windows and looking in the windows of all the vehicles in parking lot, very uncomfortable feeling all night long and the train every 1.5 hrs was just too much lesson learned!!!

The staff were so friendly and made the experience ten times better!

Bathtub had water in it. Hairdryer didn't work. Refrigerator didn't work. Ceiling was peeling in the bathroom. Elevator didn't work. Breakfast wasn't offered. The owner was nice and the bed was comfortable. We didn't see the railroad tracks but the train whistle sounded like it was outside there door every couple of hours. I won't return there

This motel is outdated (at least the room I stayed in), but I think it has a good value for the money. I was well received upon my arrival. The room was big and it was cleaned - I can't complain. The air conditioning was strong.

The room was outdated, but I've read they are renovating all of them little by little. Other than that, it was clean and everything was working properly.

Fantastic location!!! Walk to EVERYTHING downtown. Next to train tracks, you will hear every train. I like that and don’t wake for the night trains! You? Room newly but simple and basic reno, except not the bathroom yet. Room was spotless and functional and big. New owners are fantastic, but fixing up what had been a dilapidated hotel takes time and money so if you’re needing perfection stay elsewhere (& pay accordingly!). If you want an imperfect work in progress place to stay for a really good price with great management doing their best with the resources they have, stay here! In brief: quiet except the trains; fantastic location; great value for $$; functional and clean; bathroom in desperate need of paint, but everything works, including hot water; good management; raise issues and they’ll be resolved, if you don’t speak up, they’re too busy to imagine your problems and you won’t get them fixed. It’s a huge but worthwhile project, but the staff are humans, not Apollo…😁

Very dissatisfied

It was dirty, had to switch rooms due to finding a dead bedbug in bed. Rooms just felt old and in disrepair. Woken up in the morning to a woman banging on window selling "soaps and lotion". I felt unsafe traveling alone as a woman here.
