Cedars Inn Lewiston

Absolutely nothing.

The room was FILTHY and STUNK.. not to mention the stains all over the floor. We were surrounded by filthy, stinky, homeless people. We should have just left.

Didn't eat the breakfast, rude smoking people outside our door.

Property was in serious disrepair. Door latch would not work. Massive gap under door. Was 102 degrees. Parking lot filthy. Never swept. Matt o. Tub surface was sticky and disgusting. Cigarette butts everywhere.

The air conditioning, quick check in and check out, and the friendly staff all made this accommodating. Location was excellent. We were surprised that the noise level was extremely low - no noises from other occupants (hotel reached full capacity).

Hotel layout was a bit problematic, parking area too narrow that resulted in occupants double parking; overall the hotel property seemed outdated for the purpose. The room quality is in need of TLC - bunch of cracks and wear throughout the room and surfaces, bathroom corners missing caulking and allowing bugs in, front door not completely sized to frame and misaligned (doesn't close completely once latched), mattress on the harder side, and the continental breakfast was lacking.

The office was difficult to get ahold of to check in. Could reach no one by phone, and found a note on the office door when we arrived. The room was really beat up, and then we a bed bug in the sheets. We left and requested a refund.

I decided not to stay here even though my stay.was non refundable. Their were people living there and it had broke down cars in the parking lot. It did not look like somewhere i would like to stay. The staff i spoke to was very nice

Room condition needs work... cracked/loose tiles on bathroom floor, ripped seat on chair at desk. Continental breakfast unavailable, even though advertised as having it each morning. There was a full channel selection on DirectTv including HBO and Cinemax channels. On second day the Wifi internet was unavailable as well.

Smelled like rat urine it seemed like it was in the AC/Heating unit. Inconsistent hot and cold running water. Bathroom looked like it hasn't been mopped in a long time. Top latching lock was busted off the door. Glad the main locking unit was still in tact. Looked like the same carpet from back in the 70's, which was dirty. Bed sheets were clean though, which was the only positive thing that I can think of at my stay.

The room was mediocre. I stayed for work. I looked under the bed. Trash. No vacuuming done on the floor. The shower was plumbed wrong. C means cold, H means Hot. not the other way around. Thought that would be obvious? Constant foot traffic up and down the stairs. Last night I was there I could hear either a party or domestic fighting. The internet code was for Cedars 3, 4 5, or 6 according to the front desk. And it never worked on any server. Reporting these problems to the management seems to be a lost cause. I have read the reviews. It is a constant problem. If you think the cops should drive through the parking lot on a regular basis. That is not good.
