Courtyard by Marriott Memphis Germantown

We booked a KING suite and when we arrived after traveling 7 hours they had switched our room to a double Queen. We could make this work, but I PAID for a King suite. The worst part was the actual room. The carpeted floor was SOAKED with water from the AC unit and the shower was molded all around the top of the ceiling and around the fixtures. It smelled like pee. The sheets were “clean” but my husbands pillow smelled horrible like they hadn’t washed the pillowcases. We had to stay bc we booked a “no refundable” room through Expedia but I would advise to NEVER do that. It was awful.

Last minute reservation. Easy check in. Excellent and personable employee at the desk.

If you are new to the town and looking for something safe and clean place, then this is the one. All the hotels in Memphis have weired smell but this one has great ambience with well maintainance!

Your staff is very efficient, friendly and kind.

Access to roads was blocked during utility construction but the traffic lights helped greatly.

Nice hotel. It was a very comfortable stay.

Breakfast was OK, but not a restaurant as expected. Plastic utensil?? If you offer a restaurant, you should have tables and service. Disappointing. Did not return the following morning.

For an accessible room, there were no bars in bathroom. Unless you count the shower. Nothing around the toilet to grab onto. Made it very difficult for me.
