Great host and the food/hotel chef cooked up some great dinners. The pool was good and the staff were very attentive to our needs.

Water pressure in the bathroom was very poor and the wifi was very hit and miss.

Everything was perfect , great hotel and staff . I forgot to return my keys from my last hotel and organized to courier them back to the hotel, for me. Highly recommend this hotel.

Serenity Tissa is in the perfect location of Tissa! It is located in a quiet street next to the main street. Walking distance to the lake and temple, but many tuk tuks availble through PickMe, if too hot for the walk. Also hotel can help with the transport needed for the sightseeing. The staff was superfriendly and help me with organising trip to Kataragama, Safari and my further travels to downsouth. Hotel is very nice with the wooden interior which can remind of both British and Dutch architecture back in the days. Breakfast is a mix of western and Sri Lankan😇 The hotel has a clean pool with sunbeds and pool towels😍 I also used their gym once, it has all the equipment needed for a lowkey gym session when travelling (obs, gym has no aircon). I would recommend solo travellers, friend groups and family to stay at Serenity Tissa.

An aircon in the gym would be perfect🙈

AC in the room didn’t work properly - it failed to provide continuous fresh air, and sometimes the room looked like a sauna; sheets didn’t look very clean - with some yellow stains

We had a wonderful stay at Serenity Tissa. Place was well cleaned at staff was friendly. Rooms had all the amenities needed. Very quiet place with calming surrounding. Swimming pool and gym was well maintained. Great value for money !
