Our family came from the US to Sri Lanka and chose Serenity Tissa as the hotel we would stay at. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! The manager, Santa, was very hospitable and went out of his way to help us enjoy our stay. We felt very satisfied with the overall environment of the hotel and didn't hesitate to reach out to him or any other staff members if we needed anything. He prepared breakfast and dinner for us on both days while we were there. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and we couldn't be happier! Overall, a 10 out of 10!

This was truly the best stay we’ve had on our Sri Lanka trip so far. Perfectly clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and we felt like they went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay. The pool was wonderful and we spent ours swimming and soaking up the sun after an early morning safari. Splendid breakfast, and lunch and dinner options were aplenty (and tasty) too.

There’s not much we didn’t like about our stay in this place, but we struggled a little bit with finding the right balance on the A/C, and the only window in the room was covered with film.

It's really high value for the money! Breakfast is a lot and I really enjoyed it! The staff is perfect! The manager very nice and passionate he deserve to be recognised. Thanks

The management team were friendly and very helpful. the rooms were clean and well appointed if possibly slightly more rustic than the rest of our trip. And the much needed air conditioning worked well. Also the pool was - if not quite as scenic as the photos suggest - a lovely peaceful setting (full disclosure: I had the pool to myself all evening and thoroughly enjoyed it).

I had gotten the impression from the listing - perhaps falsely - that there was a full restaurant on site. That proved not to be the case. In the end we found a lovely local restaurant 10 (very poorly illuminated!) minutes walk up the road which turned out to be a bit of a highlight for the trip with the Sri Lankan community being the majority customer. So shout out for RED restaurant!

The staff at this Hotel were fabulous....so helpful and friendly.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough - the hotel is good, but the people (particularly Shantha and Vishali) are some of the nicest people I have met in my life. I had a bicycle accident which meant I needed to go to hospital: Shantha came with me in the ambulance, smoothed the process, paid the bill initially until I was back in the real world, and got the prescription medicine, and then couldn’t do more to help with an easier access room, helping me put on some of the braces. And then Vishali was like a little angel, helping make my recovery easier, helping with food, just generally being amazing! As before, the place is great, but the people genuinely top class, and you should stay here!
