Residence Inn by Marriott Jacksonville Butler Boulevard

The staff was great. We needed some kitchen items that were atypical and not in the room and management gave those to us. We also needed a large amount of coffee for a Thanksgiving desert (i.e., Tiramisu) and management made us a special pot. Everybody we met from the front desk (Blake and Samatha "Sam"), the food prep employees and cleaning crew were great. The cooridor hallway walls and carpet were in good shape. The location is good near the Jax Town Center but, if you get a room in the section that backs up to the highway (Butler Boulevard), it can seem a bit loud when you go to bed. But, we did not have trouble sleeping.

The property needs to be renovated. The sofa in the room had holes and it bowed in the middle. The carpet had holes. To be honest I was a little shocked that a Marriott brand would allow one of their properties to go this low. The shower, which used a rain shower head, had weak flow. The kitchen cabinets and appliances were tired. The walls were dull with uninteresting artwork. Overall, the room had a tired, low budget appeal. Outside, the landscaping was in poor shape.

A reserva feita no Booking não foi encontrada pela Recepção do Hotel, que não liberou minha estadia. Eu estava com a esposa e 2 crianças pequenas, passava das 2200h e era frio. Depois de tentativas de suporte por ligação telefônica, foi combinado o cancelamento da minha reserva no booking SEM NENHUMA COBRANÇA. E o atendende do Front desk, Mr Blake, fez um cadastro supostamente com o mesmo valor da Booking, usando o cartão de crédito. Ao sair, 5 dias depois, fui cobrado 3x no cartão de crédito, com valores absurdos e desproporcionais, além de aplicarem uma multa ($ 537,5 dolares!!!) por um sensor de fumaça que supostamente deveria apitar quando há fumo de cigarro, mas q registrou um bife fritando na panela. Fizeram quase 2 mil dolares de cobrança em meu cartão de crédito, após 5 diárias, em 3 cobranças que estou tentando cancelar e eles não respondem.

Ao fazer contato com o customer guest da rede Marriot Bonvoy eles dizem q a propriedade irá resolver, mas não tem resposta até hoje, 04 Dezembro de 2025.

The breakfast was ok

I don't like that your deposit takes 5-10 business days to return. I never stayed anywhere it takes that long to return. I wouldn't stay again because how long it takes to return deposit.

The fireplace feature was a great addition to the room. The breakfast was good, not amazing.

The water pressure in the showers was terrible.
