Residence Inn by Marriott State College

The hotel grounds is covered with trees; it's a beautiful little island between strip malls and residences. The room, common areas, and patio were spacious and inviting. The gym is well equiped for its size. Our room had a really nice kitchen with full fridge.

The room was clean and neat but not spotless; we noticed an old barbeque sauce stain on the office chair. The hotel is convenient to downtown and campus but most people probably wouldn't consider it an easily walkable distance.

Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Convenient location to restaurants and the Penn State Campus.

No negatives!

The staff were very nice (and VERY accommodating), but the room was difficult to cool, the lobby area was also very hot. The shower was a little dirty, and there were some leftover items from previous stays. Breakfast was adequate and kids had fun.

I didn’t even stay there and can’t get a refund
