I booked a reservation on Booking.com for $80. They showed up at the property and I had to pay another $86 because the price of online wasn’t correct so I ended up having to pay more money for the room that I wanted to and I had to do $100 deposit for incidentals

It was close to a good amount of restaurants

The staff were horrible- we requested cleaning services (they only come every 3 days) they didn’t clean just dropped off extra towels and tissues. When they did clean they didn’t actually clean anything. The front desk was often unstaffed as the staff wondering around on personal calls. The room itself had potential but- the sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable and had no bed lines or pillows. I asked for lines and pillows they never gave us pillows. The bathroom was horrific: the toilet had a large chunk broken off, the water pressure was nonexistent and the temperature never got above a slight warm, the shower head was literally coming off the wall and shook violently, the safety bar in the shower was also coming off the wall, we also ran out of tissues 5 minutes after arriving as there were only 3 left and it took hours to get more. One of the problems I really couldn’t understand was why they kept mopping the lobby in the middle of the day; for starters it’s a major safety hazard and they were using bleach so everything smelled. I’d like to add we also had an issue where the main room tv stopped working. We told the front desk in the middle of the afternoon and expected it fixed upon our return hours later. Not only was it not fixed but they had no maintenance staff on site and the guy knew that when we reported the issue. His solution was to shrug. This was a hard trip to begin with as we had trouble at the airport and we were visiting a relative who is failing in health. The hotel should have been a comforting place to unwind and relax but instead it was a nightmare.
