Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel

This is very close to lots of restaurants and shopping. We stayed several days before Cruise and it’s a quick ride to the cruise ship.

Der persönliche Empfang war überwältigend. Alles sehr sauber. Service, Essen, Getränke wirklich sehr, sehr gut.Wir hattest das Executive Zimmer samt deren Leistung gebucht, herrlich und unsere Concierge war unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend.

Nach dem herzlichen Empfang waren wir beim auschecken an der Hauptrezeption sehr enttäuscht. Weder ein freundliches Wort noch ein Lächeln konnte der Dame entkommen. Die Minibar wurde erst nach Erinnerung unsererseits aufgefüllt und leider nicht vollständig (wäre im Preis inklusive gewesen). Kleiner süßer Pool mit guten Liegen im 2.Stock leider befindet sich das Putzdepo daneben und die Reinigungsdamen waren lautstark beschäftigt (zur besten Relaxzeit). Was auch noch zu überdenken sein sollte, die Reinigung der Lobby am Samstag zur Frühstückszeit, schade.

The location was fantastic. Right on the waterfront in a very nice part of town. The hotel looked quite smart and the lobby, bar and restaurant areas were very well appointed. The breakfasts were generous, varied and fresh. Highly enjoyable. The breakfast service by waiters was excellent. The concierge team, some of the most handsome men I have ever seen, organised a day trip for us which was wonderful. The car was modern, cool and the driver informative and friendly. Ask for Alejandro. Alejandro also took us to the airport the next day.

We were checked in an hour after the advertised time. We had to sit and wait in the lobby. My friend was given her room key and when she arrived a woman was asleep in the bed. She was given someone else's room. I don't even know how that happens. My room, when I finally got there, had someone else's packed luggage there. Staff were very hesitant to explain that. My friend's minibar door wouldn't shut therefore didn't stay cool. I decided to check mine and there was a hole where the minibar should have been. No minibar! On our last day we received notice that the hotel will be without any power for 3 hours. No lights, lifts, aircon, Wi-Fi. I was staying on the 4th floor and if I wanted to go to or from my room I had to climb the stairs. Lucky the electricity came on just before I had to bring my luggage down to take the taxi to the airport. All the staff were good especially concierge staff. except one of the evening bar staff was gruff and unfriendly. The staff were doing their best, but this hotel is trying to be 4 or 5 stars and while they know how to charge 5-star hotel prices they don't know how to run a 5-star hotel.

Good location for cruise ships just short walk. Mall next to it and markets a short walk as well
