Pensione Hotel Perth

Location was good.

The bed sheets were dirty, and the bathroom not cleaned to a standard for guests (it smelt and I felt like I didn’t want to use the shower/toilet). It was extremely loud (people outside in corridor aswell as outside on the streets).

Simple comfortable room, friendly staff, good laundry on site.

Great location, with one of Perth’s free bus route stops across the road. It is also in walking distance of the train station and the jetties for Swan River excursions. There is someone on the reception desk 24/7. They are extremely helpful. The mall is nearby too, so you are easily able to buy groceries, buy meals, or do some shopping.

The room is small. You only get a kettle and a small fridge. If you need an iron you have to ask for one. The room is very hot. Reception said you cannot adjust the AC temperature due to the building’s age. She suggested opening the window. This was an excellent idea. We’d open the window when we arrived back at our room each time and after about half an hour or so the hot air would have been pushed out. We could then close the window and block the street noises as they are quite loud.
