Talkeetna Inn

Bed was not quite comfortable. Time for a new mattress I think.

I loved the location and the friendly people who run it.I was travelling alone and staff lady was there to greet me from the train as there was snow and ice everywhere.

They had no wine glasses only paper cups.

Good value for money, very clean room. View of the river and mountain range was beautiful. Easy to walk to restaurants/bars.

Thin walls.

It was exactly what I wanted for my stay in Talkeetna, AK! This cozy little inn is nestled right on the river, and is a short 2 minute walk to downtown. It was peaceful, beautiful, and the bed was super comfy as well. The inn keeper and her sister helped me feel right at home. (The locals are all an added bonus in this community)

Pretty clean dated room. Hair in the tub. Towels smelled like cigarette smoke which isn’t surprising as the hallway outside the rooms smelled too. Ice not cleared in front of door to hallway which could be hazardous for some. Staff less than pleasant. Just a smile would help. Bed was comfortable.

There is really not a breakfast. They offer coffee and tea all day and you can buy other things from them. They have a limited supply. We brought our own food for breakfast and could use their equipment. It is close to town, it is clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly.

Just very surprised at how small the room was and that there was no microwave even though it shows one in the pictures. There was a hot pot which was great. It is an older facility they have updated.
