Hotel Tampa Riverwalk

The hotel is in a convenient location for downtown activities. Its walkable to Benchmark arena and the Riverwalk is a nice scenic way to get around.

The hotel was under renovation, so we could not use the pool. The restaurant was also closed, but they had a little area for food. The bar was open, but only one person working. Too many people waiting so we left.

The location and balcony view

Everything else was bad. The hotel is under a heavy renovation. It should not be on the market. I felt robbed or scammed. I paid $256 for one night in a place with almost no amenities. No pool, no gym, no lobby. The room was outdated, to say the least. The bathroom was filthy. Carpet stained. Balcony is like a cheap motel. I don't know. At least they should charge half or third of the original price.

There was lots of construction, going on nowhere to park sheets were torn on bed and trash left in the room

Even through parts were under construction, it was clean and comfortable

Location and staff

The room where the coffee was had friendly staff.

Bed sunk in the middle Should have given some sort of discount because of the remodeling.

There was a nice view

There was a lot of construction going on at the property. The noise at times was too loud, there was no pool as it was part of the construction. The hotel next door allowed us to utilize their pool however that pool was dirty and cloudy.

Great location. Understandable that it was being upgraded, but didn't know that until I booked. Breakfast was ok, the staff was great. Looking forward to staying again. This was my 3rd stay. Let's get the restaurant, and pool up and running. Thx. D.G
