"Refreshing Boutique Hotel = already looking forward to my next stay!"

Loved our second stay in this modern, comfortable hotel with wonderful amenities - from the cider and cherry chip cookies upon arrival to the CO Bigelow hair and skin care amenities. Staying at The H Hotel is a fantastic retreat complete with fabulous dining options, full gym, pool and close proximity to walking trails and downtown shopping.

"Interaction with a staff member at checkout."

At checkout I told the staff member there was no hot water in the shower. I was told I had to let the water run for a bit. I did and told the staff member this and the immediate response was that she could not offer me any refund or discount (I was not looking for). I then asked for a printed copy of my receipt and was also immediately told no, however, a colleague that also checked out was offered one. Inconsistent trading? Staff that could not be bothered to make it right? My check in was great, different staff. This interaction with this staff has soured me on this H Hotel

"A found hidden gem"

The H Hotel is a hidden gem, I truly enjoyed my stay and I know have a reason to visit Midland if I looking for a quick weekend get a way. The staff were all super friendly, the room was clean and well stocked and the bar/restaurant options were phenomenal.

"Best of the Best in Midland"

Stayed here for one night instead of staying in one of the usual old Frankenmuth motels. The H is a lovely hotel property. Both of our rooms were nicely decorated in all cream/white colors. The king bedding was very comfortable. The bath was smaller than most hotels in that category, but very typical of the era that it was built in. Our only complaint about the bath was the lack of water pressure in the shower. However, the nice fluffy towels soon made you forget about the trickle pressure. We did enjoy the breakfast next morning at Zinc Cafe. The true stand out of our entire experience in Midland was our fabulous dinner at their onsite dinner restaurant, ONe Eighteen. This is definitely an upscale restaurant with a contemporary vibe that obviously has an incredible chef creating amazing meals. Everything about our meal from large booth to wonderful server to 4 amazing meals could not have made our 34th anniversary dinner any better!! Thank you!
