"Great stay"

I think this Hampton has been remodeled recently because everything looked new and CLEAN. The room smelled and looked great, and again...CLEAN. I loved the white in the bathroom, and the shampoo, conditioner, and soap smelled fantastic. The pool was not too cold at all, great temperature. And the spa was the hottest I've been to - perfect! I liked how they had toys there for kids to play with. Also, the pool and spa had steps instead of just a ladder, which was appreciated. Breakfast was interesting. I missed the biscuits and gravy. But, they did have regular and apple cinnamon waffles, including chocolate chip and strawberry toppings, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream. I also loved their almond milk option! I've never seen this at a hotel, and it was wonderful. In addition, they had a small store where you could get basic items and a shuttle that took my husband to a nearby pizza place for free. I also want to mention that the African American gentleman who I assume was working the 11pm-7am shift was very friendly and professional. He answered all of my questions and was very helpful. I also want to note that even though the hotel was full, it never seemed that way because it was so quiet. Another bonus was that there was an Outback Steakhouse and a gas station within easy walking distance, which was convenient. The only thing that was tricky for us was parking, since we were pulling a large camper. But we saw a big truck parked on the curb when we left, so we will just do that next time if it's allowed. Great stay overall, and we will be sure to stay here next time!
