Marcie at the front desk was SO lovely. The beds are an absolute dream! The whole place has a lot of wild west charm. It wasn't musty as you might guess from such an old property.

I thought it was all very charming but if you like modern hotels this isn't the place for you! The old elevator is kind of a thrill ride - a plus for me but not for the weak of constitution 😂

"Location, value and staff make this place a great place to stay."

The hotel's location and parking is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The reason I didn't give it top score is the level of noise (which actually is out of their control). Street noise and you could hear the guests in room next to ours. Also keep in mind this is a historic hotel so you will not be able to adjust temperature of your room and hot water takes awhile to reach your room. If you can adjust to those discomfort and enjoy historic hotels then this really is a great place to stay for location and value and staff friendliness.
