Comfort Apartments on Elizabeth

The location was great, the staff were kind and friendly and the hotel overall was in good condition. Air conditioning was useful on the hot Melbourne days in Summer.

The main bed was harder than a rock and the sofa bed (pull out mattress) was made of foam, the frame was poor quality and the support bars were broken. We were unable to address the issue so one of the guests had to sleep on a broken sofa bed for multiple nights which squeaked and had metal bars sticking into their back.

Location was excellent, walking distance to everything in the cbd, The rooms were clean and had the basics BUT, bring some earplugs to sleep with, it's extremely noisy at night.

The noise, especially at night when you're trying to sleep, don't seem to notice it during the day? And I think the price went up due to the Australia day long weekend and the Australian open, there's no way this room is worth over $400 a night
