Great location safe clean

The staff was great. Allan was an amazing host, and so was housekeeping. Breakfast was good as well.

The room wasn't all that clean. I noticed the bath room was adequately cleaned but noticed hair and other dirt on the floors and the shower wasn't cleaned and needed to use flip flops, also the pool was under construction and was not able to be used and lastly there was mold on one of the pillows which appeared from being wet.

Due to severe flooding in my area I called to cancel the reservation. I believe the gentleman I spoke to was Kain or someone similar to that. He was very hard to understand and I had to repeat myself multiple times. I was charged for the entire stay and did not even get to take the trip because we were under a national disaster in our area. I asked to speak to his manager which he stated there was none he was the only person I could speak to. Overall I can’t say nothing bad about the hotel itself because I never got to stay there. So my low ratings was not bad on the hotel but the service and treatment I received trying to cancel my reservation. This makes me never want to use Expedia again and use my social media platform to ensure my friends there friends and anyone they know does not utilize Expedia either. A business as big as this one should be a little more compassionate when speaking to customers.

There was a leak in the shower which caused our clothes in the bedroom to get wet

The staff was welcoming and courteous. Overall, the staff was great!

The pillows were too soft, but the bed was great.

This is an older hotel that is trying to be great. The smell tells it all. Some Reno has been done but clearly not at the level of the Hampton Inns that I’ve stayed in before. The bottom of the bathtubs are stained, the corners have collected dirt stains, the towels were both brown and white. One of the bed skirts and table next to it had dog hair on them. What surprised me was the illusion that you’d have a big window in the bedroom. Turns out it was wall to wall drapes with a very small window in the corner end of the wall. Needless to say, the rooms are dim.
