Fred Guest House Hauptbahnhof - Self Check-in

Place is conveniently located close to train station. Room very small. Better for one person. No A/C, though a fan helped. Front desk ( didn’t get her name) was so friendly and helpful. A good choice if you just have a night in transit.

Very helpful staff and great location for walking around and the train station

This property is very convenient to the Main Train Station as well as the Bus Terminal. This results in quite a bit of pedestrian traffic in the area. We opted for the breakfast which is located at another Fred’s property a very short walk away. The breakfast was not dissimilar to a Hampton Inn and Suites breakfast in the US. No contact with any staff at Fred’s guest house, only on line interface. We know to expect this from reviews, it worked fine but takes getting used to. Accommodations such as the bathroom were small but adequate and we would stay here again under similar circumstances.

Great location & close to the Zurich Main Station. Great staff, super helpful. Good breakfast choices. Would have liked washclothes in the bathroom for showers, not just towels.

Toni at the reception was great and very accommodating! Clean hotel and just a few steps to the central train station. Would definitely stay here again.

The thing we miss the most in the rooms was a lack of wash clothes for the shower there was a bit of confusion of where to find the main office when we arrived at the off-site house as we walked there direct from the train station and we're a bit confused and how to get the keys to the room other than that everything was fine

Perfect for convenience to Zürich HBF—literally a 30 second walk to track 18 and entrance to the station concourse. The neighborhood is fine and requires only a 15 minute walk to the main restaurant and shopping streets in town. The rooms are small and basic, but also new and very clean. Great value for the price, especially because we selected the property for access to the trains.

Property is located in walking distance from the main train station. Tram stop is almost at the door, very convenient

Hotel is adequate for a quick stay over. Rooms are tiny and bathroom is reminiscent of a cruise ship. Clean and comfortable, no air conditioning but a decent fan.
