Hyatt Place Huntsville - Research Park - Redstone

The hotel is lovely and in a great location however, some basic, expected, amenities were not available as advertised. If you only want beer or wine the bar will satisfy you. Although they have alcohol and mixers, even bitters, on display they do not have a capable bartender to use those items. In room coffee was undrinkable. Room was lovely and spacious but housekeeping did not fulfill basics like removing used cups and glasses or making both beds though both clearly slept in. At breakfast requested coffee but were told tea and hot water were the only options so: if you want a fully refreshened room, hot coffee in the morning and a cocktail to wind down the day this may not be the place for you. However, THE STAFF SEEMS TERRIFIC!! All that we met were as helpful as they could be with limited resources. When I went looking for a cocktail, they directed me to a bar in walking distance. Coffee? Starbucks with tremendous service was a short walk away. The refreshing of the room though was left to us I guess. Not terrible overall but not what we've come to expect of Hyatt

There was no breakfast on the bar one day , and was told they weren’t cooking anymore and it was 9:15

I rarely leave a bad review but we had a room that was a nightmare. Vibration from heater in next room shook the bad so badly we slept on the floor and the couch. Person claming to be hotel manafer has rude to me .turned out it wasnt the manager . I later heard from someone ekse and got my rewards points back, but this was really unacceptable .desk didnt even send anyome up to see the problem .

Huntsville is a hot bead of travel for supporting a variety of both business and pleasure travel. On the most recent business trip, house keeping was unable to get to the room cleaned. The lack of staffing housekeeping to provide a basic level of cleanliness should be part of your informed business travel to Huntsville in the future.
